From the Hotel Sacher in Wien, the Original Sacher-Torte started its victorious career around the globe. It was this cake that made the Sacher famous well beyond its borders.
The Original Sacher-Torte with apricot jam is made to this day according to a well-kept, secret original recipe from 1832. It is still made by hand in the in-house Sacher bakery.
