Named after the legendary grande-dame of the hotel, the Anna Sacher Restaurant is a suitably grand restaurant decorated with rich green walls and dark wood panelling with Lobmeyr crystal chandeliers and paintings by Anton Faistauer. Enjoy the innovative menu that showcases traditional local ingredients with chef Werner Pichlmaier’s light, contemporary style. The restaurant also features a superb list of Austrian and international wines.
“ At Sacher we still consider discretion as a very high virtue.
“We wanted to transfer Sacher’s philosophy of combining tradition and modern spirit to our cuisine as well,” says Pichlmaier. “By tradition I mean using ingredients such as regional freshwater fish for example, and by modern spirit I think of exotic ingredients which are not so easy to get.”
