The “Hofburg” Imperial Palace
The impressive and lavish pomp of the rooms and modern glass constructions of the “Hofburg” Imperial Palace fascinates over 300,000 guests yearly. The “Albertina” Museum
The “Albertina” is a musuem in the “Erzherzog Albrecht” Palace in the centre of Vienna. It houses one of the biggest and most significant graphics collections in the world, encompassing approx. 65,000 sketches and over a million graphic prints. The works on exhibit and stored in the archives extend from the late Gothic era to the Contemporary. The name “Albertina” comes from the founder Herzog (Duke) Albert Kasimir von Sachsen-Theschen.
